2. 27ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವ ಕಾವಲಿ ನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
3. 28ಅರಸನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಕಾವಲಿನವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾವಲಿನ ಚಾವಡಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.
4. 29ಆದರೆ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
5. 30ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮ ನಿಗೂ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಜೀವನದ ಪರಿಯಂತರ ಯುದ್ಧಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು.ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿದನು. ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಹೂಣಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯಳಾದ ನಯಮಾಳೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದಳು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀಯಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.
