ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಇವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯನಾದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಸಿಂಹವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲು ವದು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದಾ ಗಲೆ ಸಿಂಹವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿತು.
Aadare aa manushyanu avanannu hodeyallollade iddanu. Aaga avanu ivanige--neenu kartana maatige avidheyanaadadarinda igo, neenu nannannu bittu hoguvaaga sinhavu ninnannu kollu vadu andanu. Avanu ivanannu bittu hodaa gale sinhavu avanannu kandu konduhaakitu.

- 34ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ ಗಾಗಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳು ಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೆ ಇವನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 35ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದಯ ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 36ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಇವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯನಾದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಸಿಂಹವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲು ವದು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದಾ ಗಲೆ ಸಿಂಹವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿತು.
- 37ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು--ದಯ ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಗಾಯವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಡೆದನು.
- 38ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೂದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಮುಖ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ ಅರಸನಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
