ಆ ಬಂಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗಿಬೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇತ್ತು.

- 4ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರ ಠಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಡೆ ಆ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಚೇಚ್‌ ಸೆನೆ ಎಂಬ ಚೂಪಾದ ಎರಡು ಬಂಡೆ ಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
- 5ಆ ಬಂಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿಕ್ಮಾಷಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗಿಬೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇತ್ತು.
- 6ಆಗ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಈ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವರ ಠಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗೋಣ ಬಾ; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡಿಸುವನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರಿಂದಾದರೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರಿಂದಾದರೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಆಟಂಕವಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
- 7ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರುವವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡು, ನಡೆ; ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
