ಆ ಯಾಜಕರು ಜನರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ ವಿಧ ಏನಂದರೆ, ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಆ ಬಲಿಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸುವಾಗ ಯಾಜಕನ ಸೇವಕನು ಮೂರು ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಕೊಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು

14ಅದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಲೆ ಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ತಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಗಡಿಗೆ ಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಚುಚ್ಚುವನು. ಆ ಆಯುಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾಜಕನು ತನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
15ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಸೇವಕನು ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವವನ ಸಂಗಡ--ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಹಸಿಮಾಂಸವೇ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನು ವನು.
