ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಸೇವಕನು ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವವನ ಸಂಗಡ--ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಹಸಿಮಾಂಸವೇ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನು ವನು.

- 16ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅವರು ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಸುಡಲೇಬೇಕು. ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಅವನು--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ, ಈಗಲೇ ಕೊಡು; ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುವನು.
- 17ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಪಾಪವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಕರ್ತನ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ತುಚ್ಛ ವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡರು.
