1. 14ಅದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಲೆ ಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ತಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಗಡಿಗೆ ಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಚುಚ್ಚುವನು. ಆ ಆಯುಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾಜಕನು ತನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
2. 15ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಸೇವಕನು ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವವನ ಸಂಗಡ--ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಹಸಿಮಾಂಸವೇ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನು ವನು.
3. 16ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅವರು ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಸುಡಲೇಬೇಕು. ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಅವನು--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ, ಈಗಲೇ ಕೊಡು; ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುವನು.
4. 17ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಪಾಪವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಕರ್ತನ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ತುಚ್ಛ ವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡರು.
5. 18ಬಾಲಕನಾದ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ನಾರುಮಡಿಯ ಏಫೋದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
