1. 17ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಕಾಲಾಳಿಗೆನೀವು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಅವರ ಕೈ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಹಾಯ ವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವನು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರು ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನ ಸೇವಕರು ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರು.
2. 18ಅರಸನು ದೋಯೇಗನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾಜಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಎದೋಮ್ಯನಾದ ದೋಯೇಗನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾಜಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನಾರುಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಎಫೋದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಾದ ಎಂಭತ್ತೈದು ಜನರನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದನು.
3. 19ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕರ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವಾದ ನೋಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.
4. 20ಆದರೆ ಅಹೀಟೂಬನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಹೀಮೆ ಲೆಕನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.
5. 21ಸೌಲನು ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ದನು.
