2. 16ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನುಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕನೇ, ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
3. 17ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಕಾಲಾಳಿಗೆನೀವು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಅವರ ಕೈ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಹಾಯ ವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವನು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರು ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನ ಸೇವಕರು ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರು.
4. 18ಅರಸನು ದೋಯೇಗನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾಜಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಎದೋಮ್ಯನಾದ ದೋಯೇಗನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾಜಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನಾರುಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಎಫೋದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಾದ ಎಂಭತ್ತೈದು ಜನರನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದನು.
