ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಆ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನಾರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇವರೇ.
Namage ayyo! Aa paraakramiyaada devarugala kaiyinda nammannu tappisuvavanaaru aiguptyarannu aranyadalli sakala baadhegalinda hodeda devarugalu ivare.

- 8ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಆ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನಾರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇವರೇ.
- 9ಓ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರೇ, ನೀವು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಧೈರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಇರ್ರಿ; ಇಬ್ರಿಯರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಇದ್ದು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
- 10ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಸಂಹಾರ ವಾಯಿತು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳು ಮಡಿದರು.
