ಅವರು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವ ಶಬ್ದ ವನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ--ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ಪಾಳೆ ಯದ ಈ ಮಹಾ ಆರ್ಭಟವೇನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂತೆಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡರು.

King James Version (KJV): And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What [meaneth] the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the LORD was come into the camp.

4ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂ ಷವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಶೀಲೋವಿಗೆ ಕಳು ಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಏಲಿಯ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಹೊಫ್ನಿಯೂ ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನೂ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು;
5ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿ ಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಾ ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಕಂಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಿದರು.
6ಅವರು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವ ಶಬ್ದ ವನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ--ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ಪಾಳೆ ಯದ ಈ ಮಹಾ ಆರ್ಭಟವೇನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂತೆಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡರು.
7ಕರ್ತನು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಭಯ ಪಟ್ಟು--ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದು ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಆ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನಾರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇವರೇ.
