ಕರ್ತನು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಭಯ ಪಟ್ಟು--ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದು ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

- 7ಕರ್ತನು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಭಯ ಪಟ್ಟು--ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದು ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 8ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಆ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನಾರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇವರೇ.
- 9ಓ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರೇ, ನೀವು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಧೈರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಇರ್ರಿ; ಇಬ್ರಿಯರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಇದ್ದು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
