2. 8ಈಗ ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಬಹು ಗುಂಪಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಯಾರೋಬ್ಬಾಮನು ದೇವರುಗಳಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಕರುಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟು.
3. 9ನೀವು ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಲೇವಿ ಯರನ್ನೂ ತಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಕಿ ದೇಶಗಳ ಜನರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಎಳೇ ಹೋರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ದೇವರಲ್ಲದವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿರುವನು.
4. 10ನಮಗಾದರೋ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವ ಯಾಜಕರು ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು; ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
5. 11ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧ ಧೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಸುಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುವದುಂಟು; ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ಥಂಭವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ದೀಪ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
