2. 2ಕೆಲವು ವರುಷಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಆಗ ಅಹಾಬನು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅನೇಕ ಕುರಿದನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮೋತಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದನು.
3. 3ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಾ ಬನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟ ನಿಗೆ--ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮೋತಿಗೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರು ವೆವು ಅಂದನು.
4. 4ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
5. 5ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ನಾನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮೋತಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಹುದೋ ಬಾರದೋ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವರು--ಹೋಗು; ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವನು ಅಂದರು.
