- 35ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಬಹು ದುಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದವನೂ ಆದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಹವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು.
- 36ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾರ್ಷಿ ಷಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಹಡಗುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಲು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವರು ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ಗೆಬೆ ರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಡಗುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.ಆಗ ಮಾರೇ ಷಾದವನಾಗಿರುವ ದೋದಾವಾಹುವಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಯೆಜರನು ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ಅಹಜ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೇರಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಹಡಗುಗಳು ತಾರ್ಷಿ ಷಿಗೆ ಹೋಗ ಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
