ಆದರೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ;
Aadare unnata sthalagalu innoo tegeduhaakalpadalilla. Janaru tamma hrudayagalannu tamma pitrugala devara kadege innoo siddhamaadiralilla;

- 33ಆದರೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ;
- 34ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು, ಮೊದಲನೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಕಡೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಇಗೋ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹನಾನೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹೂವಿನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
- 35ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಬಹು ದುಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದವನೂ ಆದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಹವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು.
