ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಆಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನ ಪರಿಚಾರ ಕನೂ ಬಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು.

King James Version (KJV): Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that [there was] much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.

10ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಜನರೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯೊಳಗೆ ತುಂಬುವಷ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
11ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಆಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನ ಪರಿಚಾರ ಕನೂ ಬಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು.
12ಆಗ ಅರಸನೂ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯುವವರನ್ನೂ ಬಡಿಗಿಯವರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡರು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡರು.
13ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಕೆಲಸದವರು ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸವು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಯಿತು, ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಇದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
