ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಿದರು.

- 11ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಆಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನ ಪರಿಚಾರ ಕನೂ ಬಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು.
