ಬದುಕಿದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ದು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಶಿಖರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಶಿಖರದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ದೊಬ್ಬಿದರು. ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾದರು.

10ಆಗ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಸೈನಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದನು. ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರ ಕೋಪವು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಉರಿಯಿತು. ಅವರು ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿದರು.
11ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉಪ್ಪಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಯಾ ರಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು.
12ಬದುಕಿದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ದು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಶಿಖರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಶಿಖರದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ದೊಬ್ಬಿದರು. ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾದರು.
13ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಗುಂಪಿನವರು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಬೇತ್ಹೋರೋನಿನ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಹುಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
14ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಎದೋಮ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ತಾನು ಸೇಯಾ ರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅವು ತನಗೆ ದೇವರುಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟನು.
