26ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು, ಮೊದಲನೆಯವು ಗಳೂ ಕಡೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಯೆಹೂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
27ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.
