ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಈಗ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕೂಟದವರು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಚಿತಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು.

- 31ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಈಗ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕೂಟದವರು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಚಿತಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು.
- 32ಸಭೆಯು ತಂದ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ವೇನಂದರೆ: ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಹೋರಿಗಳು, ನೂರು ಟಗರು ಗಳು, ಇನ್ನೂರು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
- 33ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳು ಆರುನೂರು ಹೋರಿಗಳೂ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
