ಸಭೆಯು ತಂದ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ವೇನಂದರೆ: ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಹೋರಿಗಳು, ನೂರು ಟಗರು ಗಳು, ಇನ್ನೂರು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.

- 31ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಈಗ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕೂಟದವರು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಚಿತಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು.

- 34ಯಾಜಕರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಲಿಯಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸವು ತೀರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಯಾಜಕರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಲೇವಿ ಯರಾದ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗಿಂತ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
