ಮೋಶೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಯಾ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಶಾಖೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಡಲು ಅವರು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿಟ್ಟರು.

- 13ಹೀಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಡಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಪ್ಪಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೊಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇಯಿಸಿ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಜನರೆ ಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
- 14ತರುವಾಯ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕ ರವೂ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಯಾಜಕರು ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಯಾಜಕರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು.
