ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ದದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣ ದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನೀನು ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ

39ನೀನು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮನ್ನಿಸು.
40ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿರಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳು ಆಲೈಸುತ್ತಾ ಇರಲಿ.
