ಆಗ ಎಲೀಷನು ಮರಣಕರವಾದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ಯಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋವಾಷನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅತ್ತು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ರಥವೂ ಅದರ ಕುದುರೆ ರಾಹುತನೂ ಆದವನೇ ಅಂದನು.

Aaga eleeshanu maranakaravaada vyaadhi yinda biddu sattaaga israayelina arasanaada yovaashanu avana balige bandu avana munde biddu attu avanige--nanna tandeye, nanna tandeye, israayelina rathavoo adara kudure raahutanoo aadavane andanu.

15ಆಗ ಎಲೀಷನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
16ಅವನು ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
