ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನು ಏಲ ತನ್ನು ಅರಾಮಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಏಲತಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಏಲತಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

- 6ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನು ಏಲ ತನ್ನು ಅರಾಮಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಏಲತಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಏಲತಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
- 7ಆದರೆ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೇ ಸೆರನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬರ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಹಾಜನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿ ಸಿದನು.
