ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬೈಲಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಏಲತ್‌, ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ಗೆಬೆರ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ದಾಟಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆವು.

King James Version (KJV): And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

7ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನೀನು ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಬಲ್ಲನು; ಈ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
8ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬೈಲಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಏಲತ್‌, ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ಗೆಬೆರ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ದಾಟಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆವು.
9ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಉಪದ್ರಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಆರ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಲೋಟನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನಲ್ಲವೇ ಅಂದನು.
10ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಮಿಯರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಹಳವಾದವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಉದ್ದವಾದವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಜನರು.
