2. 26ಆಗ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಕೀಮನೂ ಶೆಬ್ನನೂ ಯೋವನೂ ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತ ನಾಡು. ಅದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಜನರು ಕೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಡ ಅಂದರು.
3. 27ಆದರೆ ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನೋ? ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಲವನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4. 28ಆಗ ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಯು ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಶಬ್ದವಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ -- ಮಹಾ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
5. 29ಅರಸನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೋಸ ಗೊಳಿಸದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾರನು.
