And he went up from thence unto Beth-el: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

2. 22ಎಲೀಷನು ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಆ ನೀರು ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
3. 23ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ ರುವಾಗ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಹುಡುಗರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಬೋಳ ತಲೆಯವನೇ, ಏರಿ ಹೋಗು; ಬೋಳ ತಲೆಯವನೇ, ಏರಿ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದರು.
4. 24ಅವನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕರಡಿಗಳು ಹೊರಟು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೆರಡು ಹುಡುಗ ರನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು.ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ಮೆಲು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.
5. 25ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ಮೆಲು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.
