ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ಮೆಲು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.

23ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ ರುವಾಗ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಹುಡುಗರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಬೋಳ ತಲೆಯವನೇ, ಏರಿ ಹೋಗು; ಬೋಳ ತಲೆಯವನೇ, ಏರಿ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದರು.
24ಅವನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕರಡಿಗಳು ಹೊರಟು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೆರಡು ಹುಡುಗ ರನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು.ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ಮೆಲು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.
25ಅವನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ಮೆಲು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದನು.
