ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಏನು ನೋಡಿದರು ಅಂದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
Avanu--ninna maneyalli avaru enu nodidaru andanu. Hijkeeyanu--nanna maneyalli idda ellavannoo avaru nodiddaare; nanna bokkasagalalli naanu avarige torisade iddaddu ondaadaroo illa andanu.

- 14ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಏನು ಹೇಳಿದರು? ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು ಅಂದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ಅವರು ದೂರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 15ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಏನು ನೋಡಿದರು ಅಂದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
- 16ಆಗ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.
- 17ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯ ಲ್ಪಡುವದು. ಒಂದೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ;
