ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಪಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬದೇ.

- 5ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ.
- 6ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಪಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬದೇ.
- 7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಉಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹುಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಗುಣ ಹೊಂದಿದನು.
- 8ಆದರೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೂ ನನಗೆ ಗುರುತೇನು ಅಂದನು.
