3. 3ಅರಸನು ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿ ರುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವ ದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು; ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿದರು.
4. 4ಅರ ಸನು--ಬಾಳನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹದ ತೋಪುಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಮಾಡ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾದ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಯಾಜಕ ರಿಗೂ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಿಗೂ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಿದ್ರೋನ್‌ ಹೊಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಡಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಬೂದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
5. 5ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡಲು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪೂಜಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾಳನಿಗೂ ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಚಂದ್ರನಿಗೂ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ರಾಶಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಧೂಪಸುಡುವವರಾರೂ ಇರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
