1. 1ಅವನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚರನು ತಾನೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದಿಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
2. 2ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೇ ವರುಷದ ವರೆಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
3. 3ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರವು ಬಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
4. 4ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗಲ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನು ಬಯಲು ಮಾರ್ಗ ವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
