ಆಗ ಅವಳು ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಳು.

- 37ಆಗ ಅವಳು ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಳು.
- 38ಎಲೀಷನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೇಶ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರ ಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆನೀನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
- 39ಒಬ್ಬನು ಪಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ತರಲು ಅಡವಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಡವಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅಡವಿಯ ಕಾಯಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಉಡಿಯ ತುಂಬ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯಿದು ಆಹಾರವಿರುವ ಗಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿ ಯದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.
