ಆಗ ನಾಮಾನನು--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಎರಡು ತಲಾಂತು ಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎರಡು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಸಂಗಡ ಎರಡು ದುಸ್ತು ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವರು ಇವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
Aaga naamaananu--neenu dayamaadi eradu talaantu galannu takko endu heli avanannu balavanta maadidanu. Haageye eradu talaantu belliyannu eradu cheelagalalli kattisi adara sangada eradu dustu battegalannu kottu tanna sevakaralli ibbara mele horisidanu; avaru ivana munde hottukondu hodaru.

- 21ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಗೇಹಜಿಯು ನಾಮಾನನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದನು. ನಾಮಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಓಡಿ ಬರುವವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ದಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ರಥದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇಮವೋ ಅಂದನು.
- 22ಅವನುಕ್ಷೇಮ; ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಈಗಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಎರಡು ದುಸ್ತು ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 23ಆಗ ನಾಮಾನನು--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಎರಡು ತಲಾಂತು ಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎರಡು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಸಂಗಡ ಎರಡು ದುಸ್ತು ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವರು ಇವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
- 24ಅವನು ದುರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೋದರು.
- 25ಆಗ ಇವನು ಒಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತನು. ಎಲೀಷನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಗೇಹಜಿಯೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
