3. 32ಎಲೀಷನು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಜೊತೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು; ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ಎಲೀಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅವನು ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ--ಈ ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕನ ಮಗನು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆ ಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಿರೋ? ನೋಡಿರಿ; ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅವನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.ಅವನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಕೇಡು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೇನು ಅಂದನು.
