ಆಗ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು --ಕುದುರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲಿ; ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವೆ; ಅಂದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶವಾಗದೆ ಉಳಿದವುಗಳಂತಿವೆ; ನಾವು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನೋಡೋಣ ಅಂದನು.

- 14ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಎರಡು ರಥಗಳ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು; ಆಗ ಅರಸನು--ನೀವು ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
- 15ಅವರು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಇಗೋ, ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಬಹು ಅವಸರದಿಂದ ಬಿಸಾಡಿದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳೂ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಗಳೂ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದನ್ನು ದೂತರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅರಸ ನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
