ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಬಿಲ್ಲೆಂಬ ಗೀತವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಇಗೋ, ಇದು ಯಾಷಾರಿನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ,

16ದಾವೀದನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದೆನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವು ನಿನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
17ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಸೌಲನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಗೋಳಾಟ ದಿಂದ ಈ ಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಿ ಗೋಳಾಡಿದನು.
18ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಬಿಲ್ಲೆಂಬ ಗೀತವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಇಗೋ, ಇದು ಯಾಷಾರಿನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ,
19ಏನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವು ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು!
20ಗತ್‌ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ ಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಟ್ಟಾರಲ್ಲಾ; ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಪಟ್ಟಾರಲ್ಲಾ.
