ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದಾವೀದನು ಜನ ರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ರಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.

- 28ಈಗ ನಾನು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಹಿಡಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
- 29ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದಾವೀದನು ಜನ ರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ರಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
- 30ಅದರ ಅರಸನ ತಲೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅದು ಬಂಗಾರದ್ದಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ತಲಾಂತಿನ ತೂಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ದಾವೀದನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಬಹು ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದನು.ಆದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗರಗಸ ಸಲಿಕೆ ಕೊಡ್ಲಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಟ್ಟಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅಮ್ಮೊನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
- 31ಆದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗರಗಸ ಸಲಿಕೆ ಕೊಡ್ಲಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಟ್ಟಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅಮ್ಮೊನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
