ಅದರ ಅರಸನ ತಲೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅದು ಬಂಗಾರದ್ದಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ತಲಾಂತಿನ ತೂಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ದಾವೀದನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಬಹು ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದನು.ಆದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗರಗಸ ಸಲಿಕೆ ಕೊಡ್ಲಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಟ್ಟಿಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅಮ್ಮೊನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
