1. 15ಆಗ ಅಮ್ನೊನನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದ ಹಗೆಯು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ಎದ್ದು ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು.
2. 16ಆಗ ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲ; ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವ ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಮತ್ತೂ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದಳು.
3. 17ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ಇವಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬೀಗಹಾಕು ಅಂದನು.
4. 18ಅವಳು ವಿವಿಧವಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಳು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅರಸನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರಾದ ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಇಂಥಾ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬೀಗಹಾಕಿದನು.
5. 19ಆಗ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ತಾನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ವಿವಿಧವಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದಳು.
