2. 8ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು; ಅವರು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಂಡ ಕರಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ರೋಷ ವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಶೂರನು; ಅವನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ತಂಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
3. 9ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಈಗ ಒಂದು ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವನು. ಮೊದಲೇ ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಸತ್ತರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು ವವರು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಹಾರವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು.
4. 10ಆಗ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಹೃದಯವೂ ಸಹ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕರಗುವದು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಶೂರನೆಂದೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವವರು ಪರಾ ಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳೆಂದೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಬಲ್ಲರು.
5. 11ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಏನಂದರೆ, ದಾನಿ ನಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನೇ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು.
