4. 14ದಾವೀದನು ಗಡಿ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದಂಡು ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
5. 15ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನ ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಡುವ ವನಾರೆಂದು ಬಹು ಆಶೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
