1. 19ಈ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬಹು ಘನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಇದ ರಿಂದಲೇ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ನಾದನು. ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಮೂರು ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಸಮಾನನಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2. 20ಕಬ್ಜಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾ ವನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಅನೇಕ ಶೂರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದಹಾಗಿರುವ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿಮಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಒಂದು ಸಿಂಹವನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
3. 21ಅವನು ರೂಪವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಈಟಿಯು ಇತ್ತು. ಇವನು ಒಂದು ಕೋಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕಸಕೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಈಟಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
4. 22ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ದಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
5. 23ಇವನು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಜನರಿ ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಘನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಸಮಾನ ನಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮೈಗಾವಲಿ ನವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನಾಗಿಟ್ಟನು.
