ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ದಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

- 20ಕಬ್ಜಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾ ವನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಅನೇಕ ಶೂರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದಹಾಗಿರುವ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿಮಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಒಂದು ಸಿಂಹವನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 21ಅವನು ರೂಪವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಈಟಿಯು ಇತ್ತು. ಇವನು ಒಂದು ಕೋಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕಸಕೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಈಟಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
- 22ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ದಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
- 23ಇವನು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಜನರಿ ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಘನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಸಮಾನ ನಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮೈಗಾವಲಿ ನವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನಾಗಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 24ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಸಾಹೇಲನು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಈ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಯಾರಂದರೆ; ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮ್‌ ಊರಿನ ದೋದೋವಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಹಾನಾನು;
