ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ದಾವೀದನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಕಳೆದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿ.
Abneranu israayelina hiriyara sangada maatanaadi--daaveedanu nimma mele arasanaagi ruvadakke neevu kaleda kaaladalli hudukuttiddiri.

- 17ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ದಾವೀದನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಕಳೆದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿ.
- 18ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ವಶದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ವಶದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 19ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. ಅಬ್ನೇ ರನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೂ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದ್ದ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
