ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. ಅಬ್ನೇ ರನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೂ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದ್ದ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

- 18ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ವಶದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ವಶದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 19ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. ಅಬ್ನೇ ರನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೂ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದ್ದ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
- 20ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಅಬ್ನೇರ ನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಔತಣ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
- 21ಆಗ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಇಚ್ಚಿ ಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಾನು ಎದ್ದು ಹೋಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವೆನು ಅಂದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಅಬ್ನೇರನಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
