ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅವನ ನೆರಳಾದರೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಜನರು ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ದೋಲಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇಟ್ಟು ಬೀದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.
