ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯರ ಯಜಮಾನನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲ್‌, ಹನನ್ಯ, ವಿಾಶಾ ಯೇಲ, ಅಜರ್ಯ ಇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲ್ಜಾರನಿಗೆ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--
Aa mele kanchukiyara yajamaananu daaniyel, hananya, viాshaa yela, ajarya ivarannu nodikolluvadakke ittidda meljaaranige daaniyelanu helidde nandare--

- 10ಕಂಚುಕಿಯ ಯಜಮಾ ನನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವನು ಯಾಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರಿಗಿಂತ ಕಳೆಗುಂದಿದವುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಬೇಕು? ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವು ಅರಸನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಗೆ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಅಂದನು.

- 12ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನೋಡು, ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಯಿಪಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿ.
- 13ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳು ಅರಸನ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಬರಲಿ; ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
