ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳು ಅರಸನ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಬರಲಿ; ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.

Aaga namma mukhagalu arasana bhojanada paalannu tinnuva yauvanasthara mukhagalu nimma munde kaanabarali; ninage kaanuva prakaara ninna sevakarige noduva haage maadu endu bedi kondanu.

King James Version (KJV): Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

12ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನೋಡು, ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಯಿಪಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿ.
13ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳು ಅರಸನ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಬರಲಿ; ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
14ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
15ಹತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಅರಸನ ಭೋಜನದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರೆ ಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಇವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಂದರ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಷ್ಟರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದವು.
